You've probably heard about the keto diet. It's a high fat, low carb way of eating. It does my body well, so I'm pretty familiar with recipes that qualify as keto. Chaffles are easy and quick to make. They are surprisingly satisfying, and a great way to add variety to your meals.

Ingredients | Directions |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese 2 large eggs dash of pink Himalayan salt | 1 Preheat your mini waffle iron. 2 In a mixing bowl add grated cheese, eggs and dash of salt. Mix well. |
coconut oil for greasing | 3 Using a silicone brush, coat heated iron with coconut oil. |
4 Pour about 2 tablespoons of mixture into waffle iron. Cook for about 3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove cooked chaffle and repeat until you have used all of the mixture. | |
Serving Suggestions | 5 If you are strictly eating keto: drizzle with a sugar free maple syrup and/ or organic butter. Otherwise any topping you enjoy works with chaffles. |
