Quick and easy hot chocolate, with all the benefits of sticking to your keto diet. Perfect for a night to get all cozy and cuddly, or an evening drink before bed.

Ingredients

​Directions

​1 1/4 Cups filtered water

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons monk fruit sweetener (sweetener of choice)

1 In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together water, cocoa powder and sweetener. Reduce heat to low for 3 minutes.

​1/2 Cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons MCT oil

2 Add heavy cream and MCT oil. Combine gently.

​1 dash ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 Stir in nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Serve.

​Serving suggestions: Keto marshmallows, whipped cream or cocoa powder

4 Top with whipping cream/ marshmallows or a dusting of cocoa powder.
