Brigadeiros are chewy bite sized chocolate fudge balls. They are a popular sweet treat in Brazil.
This became a go to recipe for our family, as the recipe uses ingredients that I can usually find in my pantry. Brigadeiros are simple to make and addictive.

Ingredients | Directions |
4 oz. sweetened condensed milk 3 tablespoons cocoa powder 1 tablespoon unsalted butter and some for greasing 1 pinch salt | 1 Combine condensed milk, cocoa powder and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. |
2 Keep stirring and scraping sides of pan during cooking to avoid burning the mixture. You have completed this step when the chocolate is gooey and sticks to the spatula. | |
3 Lightly grease a large plate with butter. Pour chocolate goo onto plate and allow to cool completely in fridge. | |
4 With lightly buttered hands, scoop up a tablespoon of the cooled chocolate and roll into balls. | |
Topping options: sprinkles/ coconut flakes/ pistachio nuts | 5 Cover with your preferred topping and serve in candy cups. |
